In order to fully implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the Second Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and in accordance with the deployment of the Central Economic Work Conference and the Central Financial Work Conference, the Ministry of Commerce and the Bank of Communications recently signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to promote the high-quality development of commerce, further consolidate work forces, enhance the ability of financial services to the real economy, and jointly promote the high-quality development of commerce and finance.
According to the cooperation agreement, the Ministry of Commerce will give full play to the advantages of policy coordination and strengthen policy publicity and business guidance. Bocom will use its own advantages to increase credit support in accordance with market-oriented principles to help the development of the real economy. The two sides will strengthen cooperation on business priorities such as promoting the sustained expansion of consumption, consolidating the basic market of foreign trade and foreign investment, and promoting high-level opening up. The two sides will take concrete and effective measures to improve the availability, convenience and precision of financial services, help enterprises strengthen momentum and explore markets, and promote the connectivity of domestic and foreign markets.
The two sides will establish a coordination and liaison mechanism to strengthen two-way exchanges and coordination.
